Hawaiian Island Living

Hawaii holds a very special place in my heart and also happens to be one of the most magical, relaxing places I’ve ever been. Hawaiian living is a completely different pace than what I’ve grown accustomed to — the Boston rat race followed by the Bay Area/Silicon Valley madness with Boston blood and culture running through my veins.

Sometimes I, like many of you, just need to remove myself from the craziness and fully decompress.

I’ve taken two trips to Hawaii in recent years visiting Maui twice and Kauai once. We got engaged in Maui during our trip in 2016 and in 2017 we got married in Maui and honeymooned in Kauai. Each trip to Hawaii has given me incredible memories that invoke such wonderful emotions.

As soon as the airplane touches ground and I step foot into the open air airport feeling the warm, humid air, this wave of relief and calm washes over me. That’s the type of feeling that I imagine we all want to feel when we’re in our homes. A place that makes you feel relaxed, comfortable, inspired and just good. A place where you feel like you can be exactly who you are, that you’re enough and that you’re in whatever place in life you’re supposed to be at that very moment. A genuine, warm spirit of aloha.

Feeling inspired by my trips to Hawaii, I wanted to create a space to bring me back to a place of inner peace and calm. Obviously my mind immediately was drawn to the beautiful design details and decor commonly seen in Hawaii. Deep wood tones with beautiful mahogany floors and beams, an open and airy living space vibe with light, flowy curtains, wicker furniture and bamboo details. And vibrant palms (even faux!) because they bring a sense of life to a space.

As I begin the process of establishing an e-design (and organizing) business, I wanted to give you a taste of what the product would look like. An inspiration board like this is standard as is an accompanying detailed shopping guide. In addition, you would receive a floor plan so you know exactly how the space should be laid out.

I’m excited to embark on this endeavor and create spaces that make my clients feel the way Hawaii makes me feel.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about the e-design process, please feel free to reach out to me in the comments section or connect with me on Facebook or Instagram.
