8 Serene Green-Gray Paint Colors

It’s been about 7 years since I started incorporating this hue into my home after swooning over a feature wall at Crate and Barrel. Is this a trend that is here to stay?

After living in an apartment for the past 3 years, I’ve really missed being in my condo and decorating, designing, painting and DIYing. Since I’m living vicariously through my life several years ago, I wanted to round up my favorite green/gray paint colors that I tested and a few of which I used in different rooms.

I have yet to grow tired of these green/gray colors; they create this amazing sense of tranquility and calm in a space. Who doesn’t want to feel those two things in their home? If paint is one of the ways to get to either those places, I’m on board (except for right now because I don’t want to paint and repaint our bland beige apartment walls).

So of the colors listed above I have used the following colors in the following spaces:

Glass Slipper by Benjamin Moore // this is the color I chose for my office at work. The walls were scuffed, covered in splashes of dried coffee and had a lot of dings and holes. It’s a great color for my cozy, interior office.

Gray Lake by Benjamin Moore // I used this color in the full bathroom in my condo. It pairs really nicely with the marble floors my dad and I put in together.

Comfort Gray by Sherwin Williams // This color was used in my bedroom in my condo. It’s more saturated than Gray Lake or Healing Aloe, for example, which added some welcomed warmth to the space.

Honestly, if I had a big enough space I’d probably use each one. Maybe, someday; a girl can dream!

What are your thoughts on the green-gray hue?
