8 Ideas to Get Your Clothes & Accessories Organized

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved organizing things. My childhood bedroom, the shelves in my parent’s living room and even the aisles at a grocery store. For several years I worked at Crate and Barrel and I basically spent every free moment straightening shelves, barrels, dish towels, pillows, the flatware display… you name it, I was straightening it out. It was pretty much the best possible scenario for a job.

What I won’t tell you is that I fold my underwear because that would be a lie (unless I’m traveling). I know it’s a popular concept for organization and order, but, honestly, I feel that my dedicated drawer organizer specifically for underwear suffices and meets my organizational needs. If you’re of a similar mindset, there are a lot of great options out there, and I’ve rounded up some of my favorites today.

To ensure that your efforts to get organized can be maintained for the long haul, you should implement a system that works for you, not against you.

When I saw this I started to question my resistance to folding things, like underwear, that don’t wrinkle and quite frankly don’t take up that much space. I’m quite intrigued by this incredibly organized drawer organizer, though because it doesn’t much of the work for you – visually anyway. If you are the type of person that prefers to have everything as orderly as this product allows, then you would probably find it to be a great addition to your arsenal of organizational tools.

Using bins and drawer dividers like the ones I rounded up are a great way to keep like things together and are more versatile in terms of what you want to store inside them. With the variety of shapes and sizes of bins available you can make them work for the specific measurements of your drawer(s) too. Moreover, the price points vary widely too, so there is something for every budget.
