All Things Plaid – Gift Guides for Her & Him

It seems like Christmas cheer is getting started super early this year. Day by day my social media feeds have been overtaken with Christmas trees, plaid and decor and lots of fun and creative gift guides.

Some years buying gifts seems easy and others it seems absolutely daunting. Have you ever been shopping and at the mercy of the eleventh hour on Christmas Eve among other panicked shoppers? Those are some tough times. Having been the panicked, overheated shopper and having worked in retail on Christmas Eve, I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum. I actually LOVED working retail during the holidays; I found the constant crowds, hustle and energy to be really fun. I also enjoyed helping people who looked like deer in headlights turn into confident gift givers. You know, perhaps a husband or two wandering around aimlessly with a spatula in one hand and a votive candle in another trying to make those two items into some sort of comprehensive gift. Baking by candelight anyone? That’s a thing right?

Anyway, today we’ve still got plenty of time to get shopping, and I’ve pulled together two festitive, but wintery, all things plaid gift guides for both her and him. Just in time for what I hope will be some great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, and many retailers were already promoting pre-Black Friday deals this past weekend because that is apparently a thing now.

FOR HER (Top to Bottom, Left to Right):

Sweater | Slippers  | Throw  | Wallet | Crystal Bowl | Flannel Pajama Set | Weekender Bag | Scarf | Passport Cover | Poncho | Tassel Keychain Charger

FOR HIM (Top to Bottom, Left to Right):

Slippers | Dopp Kit | Earmuffs | Pajama Set | DecanterScarf | Socks | Bathrobe | Insulated Beverage Container | Charger Roll Up

I’m really loving these portable tech gadgets from Mark & Graham that can easily work for both him and her. They offer monogramming as well, which really makes a gift that much more personal and special.

Something about plaid definitely gets me into the holiday spirit and though I don’t experience those blistery winters anymore, these plaid cold-weather accessories make me miss those cold, snowy days. And let’s be honest, I never thought I’d ever say that when I moved from Boston to CA.

Do you have any plaid on your shopping lists or your own wish list?
